There’s something so beautiful and timeless about a vintage quilt. The story behind each stitch, design, color choice and history just captivates my creative side. The diligent work and craftsmanship that went into every detail is beyond my daytime patience. We’ve somehow moved from creating beautiful things with a story, to scrolling a screen with so little given back in return. This quilt collection salvaged the remnants of quilts that once were. Cut between the tatters and discolorations of stories left behind. I may not be bringing them back to the glory of once was, but my hope is that the history and beauty lives on in a newer way. Not hidden in a cupboard but proudly worn history. Stories told in every stitch and a new way to wear Grammys beloved creations.
This timeless beauty is created using vintage quilt materials. With an adjustable strap, lining and oversized inside pocket it’s sure to fit the daily needs.
One thing to note is the nylon strap is a bit rough so it would be best not to wear with easily snagged materials.
